Background:* indicates a required field
All new recruits are required to have a basic understanding of the principles of flight and how to operate their bird. Air Group 51 expects you to know -
- How to fire up the a/c - How to operate flaps, gear, trim, cowl flaps - How to determine heading and altitude Further you must, without question, be able to - - Taxi from the spawn point to a runway in a fairly expeditious manner - Successfully initiate a roll and takeoff without incident - Format in an expeditious manner - Keep track of wing and/or lead and flight - Land back at base without incident
If you cannot do these basic things, or are unfamiliar with the terminology used here, then perhaps Air Group 51 isn't the squad for you at this particular point in your simming career. If, however, you feel you can accomplish these things then you will be required to demonstrate them to us. Please feel free to complete the Enlistment Application.
