IL2 Resolution

How did you guys get your game to go from a 1024 x 768? All the setting only go that high and my monitor is set to 1680x1050.

Nvidia Geforce 8400M GT GPU

Thud did you look in the little configuration program that runs after the install? You can run it from START, PROGRAMS, UBISOFT, IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. Then click on Setup.

But honestly I have always just been able to adjust it in game. You sure you got the right drivers installed and updated DirectX and all that Jazz?

Well there is one thing you can try. In the root folder of the game there is a file called config.ini. If you open that one of the top lines is the resolution the gaame is set to run in. You can type in 1600 x 1200 and see what happens. I have never tried to go beyond what the game supports which is 1600x1200 so I would do some research before you popped 1680x1050 in there :)

Excellent. I'll try it when I get home. :) Frame Rates are good but at 1024x768 everything is stretched out.

Thank you.
