"U. S. NAVY SIMULATOR TAIL HOOK CONVENTION" PENSACOLA, FL NOVEMBER 12-14,
2010

Several months ago I proposed a "get together" here in Pensacola for those "flying" Naval flight simulators. Several Pilots communicated to me that they were interested in attending such an event.
Here is what I would propose, if we have enough (minimum 10) "pilots" commit to attend.

1. Friday November 12 th 1600-1800, Happy Hour at the Mustin Beach Officer's Club.

2. 1830 dinner "MC GUIRE'S IRISH PUB (http://www.mcguiresirishpub.com/)

3. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13th. Lunch at "CUBI CAFE" in the NATIONAL MUSEUM
OF NAVAL AVIATION.

4. Followed by a guided tour of the Museum, flight line and the restoration area.

5. Schedule a block(s) of time for those interested in "flying" the "Top Gun" F14 simulators.

7. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14th NOON-1600. BLUE ANGLE AIR SHOW.

I would make the arrangements for the Happy Hour, lunch, dinner, tour, and simulators, and assist in making hotel/motel room reservations.

That sounds like a hoot Pop. Our own squad Tail hook is scheduled for early October. I don't think I could afford 2 in a row, and even if I could, my liver would surely rebel!! :trink4:

Maybe someone from the group could attend and bring a "Demo" to display. See below: We are progressing with the Plans for "Simulator Tailhook"! Groups are showing interest in setting up demo's and displays. We think a room at the O club beginning about 1300 Friday prior to the "Happy Hour" would kick things off, and perhaps have the room open Saturday prior to the "Cubi Club" lunch. We will need to know who, and what will be presented. Program deadline will be established shortly, so get your stuff together.!!!
Registration form, and suggested area motels will also be published in the nest 2 weeks.
